I think you missed a couple things in your initial reading.

I’m clear on my stance for Cuban protests. This really isn’t about them.

This is about DeSantis and his very stupid anti-riot bill which, if he’d applied equally, he’d be applying against Cuban protestors. Which, he is not.

Part of the reason he’s not, is because they’re 1) white-identifying, 2) typically vote Republican and 3) a very large part of the GOP base.

You can’t sign an anti-riot bill that allows citizens to run people over…but tweet out support of those people protesting in those same streets. That, literally, doesn’t make any sense.
